smile.

i just recalled!

a few weeks back i was at toa payoh interchange, she gave me such a lovely smile. first time i seen her in a while. and that smile, you could feel it, it was just from 1 person for another, just for me. it made my day, no! my week.

today was a good day. black ass day, but good day. can you imagine, a whole island renamed.

i wont sooth you anymore, i'll just speak my mind. and you said it all, i'm so full of all this. so not interesting.

"why did you change? why did you become this?", he asked.
"i thought i could be liked? i thought that if i changed this, that and this, i could then become like them." came the reply.
sadly shakes his head. "you were unique like you were. you were funny, in your own way, you had a jewel of your own. now, you're common. just like them."

somehow, the childhood i had, everything i could have had, everything i had. i threw it all.
